What is the minimum order quantity for apparel manufacturing services?

Our standard minimum order quantity is 300 pieces per design, and flexible MOQ is accepted for trial collections. That means you can launch a new activewear style with a small first run instead of committing to thousands of pieces before you know how the market responds. Because both of our factories run a combined 20,000 m² with a monthly output of 500,000 pieces, a 300-piece start is genuinely small for us - we are set up to absorb it without pushing you to over-order.

How the 300-piece minimum works in practice

The 300 pieces apply per design, not per order. So a five-style capsule collection can start at 1,500 pieces in total, and you can size-grade that quantity across your full size range. The count is based on finished garments after inspection, and it is the same whether you order simple training tees or a constructed sports bra with bonded seams and moulded cups.

When we can go below the standard minimum

• Trial and test collections - first-season ranges for a brand entering a new category, where you need sell-through data before scaling.
• Sample and sales-man set orders - showroom pieces, trade-show samples and size sets ahead of a bulk commitment.
• Reorders on existing styles - once pattern, fabric and colour are locked, smaller replenishment runs are easier to slot into the line.
• Multi-colour or multi-print splits - we look at total volume per design when deciding what is workable, not volume per colourway.

What affects the minimum more than the number itself

Fabric choice is usually the real constraint. A stock fabric from our 200+ material library can support a smaller first run, while a custom-developed or custom-dyed fabric needs a mill minimum for the raw material, which pushes the garment minimum up. Custom hardware - moulded zippers, silicone prints, bespoke elastics - behaves the same way.
