What is the cancellation policy for wholesale apparel orders?

You can cancel within 3 days of payment. In that window the order is still in planning, fabric has not been committed to the cutting table and we can stop without cost to you. After the 3-day period, if the garments have already entered the production phase, a cancellation charge equivalent to 40% of the order value applies - that percentage reflects the mill orders already placed, fabric already cut and labour already scheduled on the line.

Why the 3-day window exists

Apparel production moves fast once it starts. Fabric is ordered against your order, dye lots are set, patterns are graded and a cutting slot is reserved. Three days is enough time for you to review final specifications, confirm colour approvals and raise any internal blockers before we commit material. After that point, costs are already incurred and cannot be recovered the way a stock item could be.

What counts as already in production

• Fabric committed - mill order placed, or stock fabric reserved and inspected for your order.
• Cutting started - the fabric has been spread and cut to your pattern, which makes it non-returnable.
• Line time booked - your style is scheduled into a sewing line, displacing other orders.
• Trims and branding produced - woven labels, hangtags or custom packaging already manufactured with your artwork.

If something goes wrong on our side

The cancellation charge protects against client-side changes, not manufacturing faults. If a defect is ours - wrong fabric, wrong measurement, failed inspection against the approved sample - we remake or credit the affected pieces instead of charging you, and we hold ourselves to AQL 1.5 with 8 rounds of inspection so issues are caught before packing rather than after arrival. The cleanest way to avoid the 40% scenario is a signed-off sample: once you approve it, production runs against that reference and there is nothing ambiguous left to cancel over.
