OEM Custom Cami Bodysuit — Specs & What You Can Customize
The six variables a buyer sets on this style and what we can run on each — confirmed on your tech pack before bulk starts.
OEM Custom Thin-Strap Bodysuit — Design & Features
A square-neck bodysuit held by two thin straps that adjust at the back, with a seamed band under the bust and a short leg finishing at mid-thigh. The seam under the bust is what holds the front without padding or an underband, and the centre back is drawn in so the seat holds its shape.

Seam Set Under the Bust
A horizontal seam runs across the bodice just under the bust, which is what holds the front in shape without padding or an underband. Its position matters: set on the fullest point it reads as a shelf, set below it the bodice stays smooth and the seam does the work invisibly.

Square Neck on Thin Adjustable Straps
Two narrow straps carry a square-cut neckline and adjust at the back, so the wearer sets the length once. Because the bodice is cut into the load path of the strap, a strap this thin holds on a fuller bust without cutting in — on a block that is not cut that way, thin straps dig.

Centre Back Drawn In
The knit is drawn in along the centre back so the seat holds its shape and the leg stays where it is cut. Paired with the under-bust seam, it means the bodysuit needs no lining and no elastic at the leg, which keeps the garment light enough to wear under a skirt.
OEM Custom Under-Bust Seam Set — Detail Close-ups
The thin strap and its adjuster at the back, the seam under the bust, and the centre back where the knit is drawn in.

Back View: Straps and Draw-In
From the back you can see both details at once — the thin straps meeting the bodice and the draw-in at the centre back. The strap ends are turned into the bodice rather than knotted on the surface, which is what keeps a thin strap from twisting in the wash.

Leg Cut at Mid-Thigh
The short leg finishes at mid-thigh with a bound edge rather than elastic, so nothing presses into the thigh on a seated fit. This is the frame that shows whether the leg opening has been cut high enough for the bodysuit to stay in place when the wearer sits.
OEM Custom Soft-Knit Bodysuit — Material & Construction
Why a thin strap needs the bodice to be cut into the load path, and how the under-bust seam is set so it does not sit on the fullest point.
A thin strap only holds if the bodice underneath is cut into it, which means the strap length is decided by the pattern rather than by an adjuster. We cut the front panel so the load runs down the side of the bodice as well as over the shoulder, and that is why a strap this narrow works here without digging. The under-bust seam is set below the fullest point and checked on your largest size, because that is the size where a seam placed too high reads as a shelf. The leg opening is bound rather than elasticated, so it stays flat on the thigh.

Which Bodice Detail Sells — Under-Bust Seam vs Plain vs Ruched
Three bodice treatments on the same square neck, and which one survives a summer range.
| Factor | Under-Bust Seam (This Style) | Plain Bodice | Ruched Front |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hold at the front | From the seam line | From the block only | From the gather |
| Needs padding | No | Often | No |
| Reads as | Studio and technical | Lounge and layering | Fashion and street |
| Effect on a plain fabric | One clean line | None | Texture |
| Adds cut time | One extra seam | No | Yes — one extra step |
| Best for | Ranges that need support without padding | Volume basics | Capsules with a shaped detail |
All three cut from the same square neck, the same strap, and the same mid-thigh leg, so a buyer can run the seamed bodice as the technical piece, the plain as the volume basic, and the ruched as the fashion piece from one fit session. Take the seamed version if the range has no padding program: it is the bodice that holds the front on its own, which means the garment stays light and washes without a pad to lose.
Where a Square-Neck Bodysuit Sells — Usage Scenarios
Six ways a square-neck bodysuit is worn and sold, from a studio to a layered outfit.
Studio & Reformer
The seam holds the front without padding, so the bodysuit stays light and nothing shifts through a fold.
Layered Outfits
Short enough at the leg to sit under a skirt or a loose trouser, and plain enough at the back to sit under an open shirt.
Summer Range
One piece with no layering needed, which is how a bodysuit gets bought as an outfit rather than as kit.
Gym Floor
The draw-in at the centre back keeps the leg where it is cut through a squat, and the straps stay off the shoulder blade.
Colour Run
The bodice carries a solid colour on its own, so the block repeats across colourways without a print.
Private-Label Launch
One bodice, one strap, and one leg cover the drop, with a plain version for the volume line and a ruched version for the capsule.

Frequently Asked Questions — OEM Bodysuit Manufacturer (Wholesale & Private Label)
As a direct OEM activewear manufacturer and wholesale factory, we support private-label launches with flexible minimums, paid sampling, and full logo, label, and packaging customization.
Where exactly should the under-bust seam sit?
Below the fullest point, not on it. Set on the fullest point the seam reads as a shelf and the bodice looks padded; set below it, the seam holds the front while the surface stays smooth. Because the right position moves with the bust measurement, we set it on your largest size first and grade the seam line with the bodice rather than holding it at a fixed height. Send us your chart and we will mark the position on the sample for your approval.
Can a strap this thin hold on a fuller bust?
It can, but only because the bodice is cut into the strap load path. We run the front panel so part of the tension travels down the side of the bodice instead of all of it going over the shoulder, which is what stops a narrow strap digging on a fuller bust. On a block that is not cut that way, a thin strap fails at this size range. If you want the look and more support, we would widen the strap by a few millimetres rather than add an underband.
Will the leg opening stay flat without elastic?
It will if it is bound high enough. We cut the leg opening high and bind the edge rather than inserting elastic, which keeps it flat on the thigh and stops it pressing when the wearer sits. Cut lower and the same bound edge will roll; cut higher and it stays put but shows more leg. We set it on the seated fit on the sample, because that is where a bound opening either works or does not.
Can I order a sample before placing a wholesale apparel order?
Yes — a pre-production sample is made on the bulk lines in your fabric and colour, so you can check fit, measurements, and wash performance before you commit. The sample fee is charged per style and covers the sew-out; sample shipping is billed at cost. On a bodysuit the sampling question is really about the leg opening, so the sample is approved on a seated fit as well as a standing one.
What makes Eationwear different from other manufacturers?
Eationwear specializes in flexible manufacturing, fast sampling, and sustainable production practices. We focus on providing quality activewear solutions to both established and emerging brands. What separates this bodysuit from a basic is the under-bust seam and the bound leg opening — both are construction decisions rather than trims.
